The Wedding Suite
A Filipiniana for the moment Lola, Mom, or Tita walks her daughter down the aisle. Floor-length, traditional sleeve work, in tones that complement the bride without competing with her.
Traditionally not pure white (that’s the bride’s color) and not the same color as the bridesmaids. Soft champagne, blush, dusty blue, sage, or a deeper neutral are the most-requested. Send the bride’s color palette in a Wedding Inquiry for a tailored recommendation.
Coordinate, not match. Picking a shared color family (both in champagne, or both in sage) reads cohesive in the family photos without making them look like a uniform. We can suggest pairings that work together — just include both in your inquiry.
For a tone-on-tone effect, yes. Many brides give us their dressmaker’s fabric notes and we match the closest available weave for the mother. For a contrasting look (which is more traditional), pick a different weave entirely. Either way, send us the bride’s photo if you have it — easier to recommend in context.
