Men’s Barong · By Fabric
Machine-washable, soft, low-stress. Right for office barongs, casual events, and humid summer months where traditional weaves feel heavy. Not our wedding recommendation — but exactly right for everything else.
As a guest, yes — especially at a casual or beach wedding where the dress code reads relaxed. For groom or entourage, we steer toward organza, cocoon, or jusilyn instead. Cotton photographs softer, which is right for everyday but reads understated at a formal ceremony.
Cool wash on delicate, mild detergent, hang dry. Avoid the dryer — it shrinks the fit and stresses the embroidery. Iron from the inside on the smooth panels only.
Most aren’t — that’s part of why they’re light and breathable. The weave is dense enough to be opaque without a liner under typical wear. If you prefer a layered look, a plain undershirt is the cultural standard.
