Filipiniana · By Silhouette
Full-length silhouettes carrying the traditional sleeve work and embroidery — for weddings, debuts, and the photos that get framed. The cut you reach for when the moment is meant to last.
Length and formality. Gowns are floor-length and ceremonial — for weddings, debuts, formal galas. Dresses are knee- to tea-length, lighter weight, and read smart-formal — for receptions, family events, or daytime ceremonies. Both carry the traditional embroidery and butterfly sleeve work.
Most do. The structured butterfly (or “mariposa”) sleeve is the silhouette signature of a traditional Filipiniana — folded, starched, and held away from the shoulder. Modern cuts vary the height and structure; check the product photos for the specific shape.
Most wedding parties match the fabric tone (cream / ivory / soft white) and let the embroidery on each piece complement rather than match exactly. For full coordination help with multiple wedding pieces, send us a Wedding Inquiry with your color palette and we’ll suggest pieces that read together in photos.
