A Filipino-American family business, dressing families for the moments that matter.
Handmade Kapamilya means “handmade by family.” We make premium barongs, Filipiniana, and wedding formalwear — crafted in the Philippines, shipped fast from our U.S. warehouse, and worn at hundreds of Filipino-American weddings and milestone celebrations each year.
Why this business exists
When a Filipino wedding happens in the U.S., the barong is never the easy part. Families call cousins in Manila, scroll through Amazon listings that don’t say what size they really are, and hope the box arrives before the rehearsal. We started Handmade Kapamilya because there had to be a better way.
We work directly with artisans in Manila, keep real inventory in the U.S., and actually answer the phone when you call. Most of our wedding customers order 3 to 6 pieces — a groom, groomsmen, a bride’s Filipiniana, a kid or two — and we help coordinate all of it in one order.
We’re a small team. That’s on purpose. It means every order is checked by a human who cares whether the fit is right and whether it lands on time.
